The
testo 625 measures relative humidity, temperature and dew point
in 3 modes: fixed probe, cable probe, plus optional wireless
mode. It is used in applications such as heating, ventilation
and air conditioning (HVAC), water restoration, mold and moisture
prevention and remediation, the clean room industry, or food
manufacturing or preparation.
The
humidity range is 0to 100% RH using the Testo patented humidity
sensor. The temperature range is 32 to 122 °F (0 to 50 °C)
using a thermistor (NTC) type sensor.
The
basic 625 comes with a built-in humidity probe head. The large
2 line display shows humidity, wet bulb temperature or dewpoint
as well as temperature.
When
measuring hard to reach areas, the humidity probe head can be
easily removed and attached to the optional handle via the probe
cable.
Alternatively,
the readings can be transmitted wirelessly up to 65 feet from
the probe to the measuring instrument. To accomplish this, the
humidity probe head is attached to the radio handle (accessory)
and the radio module (accessory) is added to the Testo 625 meter
