TestoView 318 Series Fiber Optic Boroscopes

Testo 318 lighted, fiber optic scopes bring into focus the hundreds of maintenance and repair problems that can't be seen without costly and time consuming disassembly.

The TestoView 318 Series fiber optic Borescope's revolutionary flexible shaft adjusts into almost any position. The grip handle allows one handed operation with all the testoView controls at your finger tips. TestoView is available in 18", 36", 48", 72", 96" and special order flexible wand tip lengths.

Illumination is provided by two solid state LEDs which are controlled by a three position switch, giving low, off and high output. The adjustable eyepiece allows the user to fine tune focus, while the sealed lens and shaft may be immersed in liquids without worry.

Typical applications for the TestoView 318 Series Fiber Optic borescopes include mold and mildew investigations behind walls, diagnosing blocked air conditioner evaporator coils (the hidden cause of many overcharged systems) and examining heat exchangers from the inside out. Plus, it can be used for feeding thermostat wires, checking for ductwork clearance and many other daily HVAC and industrial tasks.

Important information:

Although the shaft is filled with thousands of fibers, it can be bent repeatedly to a radius of 3" without damage. Don not overbend. Probe tip water-proof up to handle.

 Never use on or near live parts
Never use on or near live electrical circuits
  Never use in explosive atmospheres
  Not intended for medical or veterinary use
  Avoid over-bending the shaft
  Over bending will void the warranty
  Do not open the handle for any reason
  No user serviceable parts inside
  Opening handle will void the warranty
  Do not submerse the handle in any liquid
 Do not immerse the shaft in any solvent for extended periods of time. Short-term resistance to silicone oils, gasoline and kerosene. Oils or petroleum products must be wiped off immediately after immersion.
