Biosystems Cannonball3 toxic and combustible multi-gas meter for hazardous locations can simultaneously detect up to 5 different gases including oxygen, LEL methane, CO, H2S. Available in high sensitivity ppm hydrocarbon configuration or dual pumps for accurate dilution monitoring in inert (oxygen-free) environments

All procedures necessary for day-to-day operation, including fully automatic calibration adjustment, are controlled through a single button. Instrument configuration options and other higher functions are accessed with the four navigation arrows on the top of the instrument.

The Cannonball3 is housed in a durable impact-resistant case that is completely sealed from the outside elements, ensuring that it will operate reliably in even the most demanding environments. Three different LED alarm lights guarantee that visible alarms can be seen from any angle. The graphics display is the largest in its class, making it easy to read even from a distance. 

 

The Cannonball3 is available in either rechargeable (NiMH) or disposable alkaline battery versions. The NiMH version will provide at least 16 continuous hours of operation even with the display back light continuously on. The Alkaline version will provide at least 24 hours of continuous operation in similar conditions.

Standard Accessories: Each Cannonball3 detector is shipped complete with probe assembly including 10 feet of tubing, reference manual, shoulder strap and probe and instrument filter replacement kits. Rechargeable detectors include battery charger and internally-housed nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack. Alkaline detectors include the internally-housed alkaline battery pack and 5 disposable D-cell batteries.

    The dilution version of the Cannonball3 allows for accurate gas detection in inert environments without the use of a dilution orifice.

    The detection range of the standard SO2 sensor is 0.0 - 25 in 0.1 PPM increments.
    The detection range of the extended range SO2  sensor is 0 - 100 in 1 PPM increments
