The Biosystems Toxi Vision is a durable, single-sensor
gas detector which features a rugged metal-plated
case that is immune to both RFI and the elements.
One-button operation keeps it simple. A few minutes
of training is all it takes to ensure proper operation.
Available in the standard O2, H2S, CO as well as toxic
sensors such as NH2, SO2, NO2, PH3, Cl and other gases
for hazardous areas.
Also available with an
IR sensor for monitoring CO2 or methane.
The large liquid crystal display can be easily seen
from several feet away. A manually-activated backlight
ensures the visibility of the readings even in low
light conditions.
An audible alarm and bright LED alarm light warn users
of dangerous conditions, while an optional vibrating
alarm is available for use in high-noise environments.
Each set of 2 easily-changed AA alkaline batteries
provides months of continuous operation.

Vision Key Features

of sensors- Toxi Vision detectors are available to monitor
for an increasing variety of common atmospheric hazards.
Choose from substance-specific sensors for the detection
of O2, CO and H2 and a number of toxic
sensors for hazardous environments.

- RFI
Protection- Special RFI shielding prevents operating
interference from two-way radios and other electronic devices
providing RFI immunity to 40 V/m.

- Display
size- The display is among the largest on the market
for single sensor gas detectors. It can easily be seen from
several feet away.

- Durability-
The chrome metal-plated ABS case makes the Toxi Vision
resistant to corrosive gases such as H2S. The
Toxi Vision is also vacuum-tested to ensure water tightness
and has a water-resistance rating of IPX5/7.

- One-button
operation- A single button controls access to all user
functions and is large enough to be used even with gloves
on.
|
- Optional
vibrator alarm- An optional internally-housed vibrator
alarm allows the detector to be used even in high noise
environment.
|
- Calibration-
True one-button auto calibration is available at any
time while in normal operation. Simply press the "MODE"
button three times, attach the adapter, and flow gas to
the sensor. All adjustments are automatic.

The Sperian
- Biosystems CO Responder Kit is the complete and accurate solution for
both residential and workplace carbon monoxide calls. The kit includes a
rugged and dependable ToxiVision CO gas detector, a cylinder of calibration
gas with regulator and all necessary calibration fittings, ten easy-to-use
ToxiTube CO dosimeter tubes, operator's manual and quick reference card
- all in a durable waterproof carrying case.
The Toxi Vision CO Responder Kit
was built with the fire service in mind. The kit includes everything you
need to calibrate and operate the ToxiVision and 10 ToxiTube dosimeter
tubes that can be left behind to continue monitoring for CO for an additional
24 hours.

ToxiTube dosimeter tubes are designed
to respond to background carbon monoxide and give an indication of the approximate
level of gas. Just break the tube on the score line and leave it in the
area to be monitored. Positive CO readings show up as a stain on the internal
filament and warn the resident of potential CO hazards.
