Biosystems Discontinued Models


  • Biosystems MultiVision has been discontinued effective July 31, 2011. Standard warranties for product related concerns will continue to be honored. Servicing, spare parts, and accessories will be available until September 30, 2013, or until parts are no longer available.

  • Biosystems NXP and Biosystems EXP Fixed Gas Detection Systems as well as the Biosystems FXC Fixed System Controller has been discontinued effective May 31, 2011, the . Orders will continue to be accepted until inventory is depleted. Standard warranties for product related concerns will continue to be honored. Servicing, spare parts, and accessories will be available until May 31, 2013, or until parts are no longer available.

  • Biosystems TravelPanel 50MP Effective May 31, 2011, the TravelPanel 50MP air purification system will be discontinued. Standard warranties for product related concerns will continue to be honored. Servicing, spare parts, and accessories will be available until May 31, 2013, or until parts are no longer available.

  • Biosystems Toxi Vision™ IR CO2 and IR CH4 Single Gas Detectors
    Discontinued Effective December 31, 2010 Replaced by the PhD6 Multi-Gas Detector. Orders will continue to be accepted until inventory is depleted. Sperian will honor the standard warranty for product related concerns. Servicing, spare parts and accessories will be available until December 31, 2010 or until parts are no longer available.

  • Biosystems Toxi Vision™ EX Combustible Gas Detectors
    Discontinued Effective December 31, 2010. Replaced by the MultiPro Multi-Gas Detector. Orders will continue to be accepted until inventory is depleted. Sperian will honor the standard warranty for product related concerns. Servicing, spare parts and accessories will be available until December 31, 2010 or until parts are no longer available.

  • Biosystems ZoneGuard™ fixed system single gas monitors. Discontinued effective January 1, 2011. It has been replaced by the NXP and EXP fixed system detectors.

  • Biosystems Toxi3Ltd™ single-sensor gas monitor for Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S). Discontinued September 1, 2010. Replaced by the updated ToxiPro or ToxiLtd detectors. Servicing, spare parts and accessories will be available until September 2013.

  • Biosystems Toxi Vision single gas detectors. Discontinued December 31, 2009, however, the IR and EX versions will continue to be manufactured. They have been replaced by the Biosystems ToxiPro series of meters. Support is available through December 2012.
  • Biosystems PhD5 multi-gas meter. Discontinued January 1, 2009 and replaced by the PhD6 multi-gas model. .Support is available through December 31, 2010.
  • Biosystems PhD Lite multi-gas meter. Discontinued January 1, 2009 and replaced by the PhD6 multi-gas model. No accessories are available. Support is available through December 31, 2010.

  • Biosystems PhD Ultra multi-gas meter. Discontinued January 1, 2009 and replaced by the PhD6 multi-gas model. No accessories are available. Sensors and support are available through December 31, 2011.
  • Biosystems CO Responder Kit. Discontinued January 1, 2009. Servicing and spare parts will be available until December 31, 2010.

  • Discontinued Service & Spare Parts. Sperian Instruments will no longer provide repair services and spare parts for the Toxi Series, Toxi Plus and Toxi Ultra. Due to the component cost, end users have been purchasing new ToxiPro or ToxiLTD monitors as replacements over repair.

  • Biosystems MightyTox series of disposable single gas detectors. Discontinued July 2008 and replaced by the ToxiLTD.

  • Biosystems PhD Plus multi-gas meter. Discontinued November 9, 2007 and replaced by the MultiPro multi-gas model. No accessories are available. Sensors & support is available through November 9, 2011.

  • Biosystems IQ Docking Station. D iscontinued November 9, 2007. Support is available through November 9, 2011.

  • Touch 'N Track System. Discontinued November 9, 2007. Support is available through January 15, 2013.

  • Biosystems IQ Datalink. Discontinued June 10, 2007. Support is available through June 10, 2011.

  • Biosystems GasChek1 and GasChek4 fixed gas detections system. Discontinued May 13, 2007. Servicing and spare parts will be available until March 13, 2014.

  • Travel Panel 50R was discontinued January 15, 2006. It was replaced by the Travel Panel 50MP (54-50-xxx). Parts and support are no longer available.

  • MightyTox2 was discontinued January 15, 2006. It was replaced by the ToxiLTD (54-44-xx). Support is available through November 9, 2013.

  • Model 3300 CO Gas Detector. Discontinued January 15, 2006. It was replaced by the ToxiPro CO Gas Detector (54-45-01). Parts and suupport are no longer available..

  • Toxi, Toxi Plus, Toxi Ultra, Ex Chek. Discontinued January 15, 2006. They was replaced by the ToxiPro Series or ToxiVision EX Gas Detectors (54-45-xx, 54-37-80). Support is available through November 9, 2013.

  • Biosystems Cannonball2 multi-gas meter. Discontinued March 2004. It was replaced by the Cannonball3. Effective 10-10-08 Sperian will no longer provide repair services and spare parts- with the exception of some toxic and oxygen (O2, CO & H2S) sensors.

  • Biosystems PhD2 multi-gas meter. Discontinued April 2001. Effective 10-10-08 Sperian will no longer provide repair services and spare parts- with the exception of some toxic and oxygen (O2, CO & H2S) sensors. The recommended replacement product is the PhD6
