220 Primary Gas Flow Calibrator for Standardized Flow Verification

The Definer 220 allows users to verify gas flow rates, in the field or in the lab, to an accuracy of ±1% percent of reading, including temperature and pressure compensation. The Definer 220 is a field-hardy primary flow meter that is NIST traceable. Each Definer 220 is individually calibrated in the Bios ISO 17025-, ANSI Z-540- and NIST Handbook 150-accredited gas flow calibration laboratory.

Unlike thermal mass flow meters, the Definer 220's positive displacement technology provides immediate indication of actual volumetric gas flow rate - accurately and independently of gas type. Integrated temperature and pressure sensors in the flow stream allow users to automatically standardize volumetric flow readings to standard conditions, for traceable verifications of mass flow devices.

The Definer comes standard with Bios Optimizer™ 110 software.

Bios DryCal ML-800® Primary Gas Flow Calibrator

The high-speed, mercury-free, Bios DryCal ML-800 is the most accurate piston prover with a  ±0.15% accuracy of reading, not full-scale. The Bios DryCal ML-800 is available in three interchangeable flow cells to cover an ample measuring range, from 5 cc per minute to 50 liters per minute. Flows are automatically corrected to standardized temperature and pressure conditions using precision sensors within both the gas flow stream and the base unit for the highest degree of accuracy. Users can toggle between volumetric and standardized flow, simultaneously viewing the flow rate, average, and the number of averaged readings. Readings may be stored in non-volatile memory, downloaded into a PC spreadsheet, or printed to the optional battery-powered thermal printer.

The Bios Gas Flow Benches offer practical engineered solutions for calibration of gas flow measurement devices configured to provide the stable flow critical to the calibration process. Bios configurations use different components to connect the gas source, regulate pressure, control the flow, and direct the flow to a specific device being calibrated against a DryCal® standard. The Bios Flow Benches are pre-configured for specific applications. They are available in different configurations.
