The Bios DryCal Definer 220
calibrator with
flow rates from 5 cc to 30 Liters, is a true volumetric flow standard
which allows users to verify gas flow
rates, in the field or in the lab, to an accuracy of ±1% percent
of reading, including temperature and pressure compensation.
Unlike
thermal mass flow meters, the Definer 220's positive displacement
technology provides immediate indication of actual volumetric gas
flow rate – accurately and independently of gas type. Integrated
temperature and pressure sensors in the flow stream allow users
to automatically standardize volumetric flow readings to standard
conditions, for traceable verifications of mass flow devices.
A versatile,
push-button flow meter, the Definer 220 is a primary flow standard
which enables the user to accurately calibrate a variety of instruments
while maintaining an ISO 17025-traceable audit trail.

Flexibility

up to one hundred readings in a group average
- Take individual
readings, continuous hands-free readings, or set to read in time intervals
anywhere from one minute to sixty minutes between readings
Software:
- The Optimizer
Collect Light software is bundled with the Definer with an integrated
serial PC interface for easy transfer of flow data to a text file, with
automatic recording and graphing of flow measurements.
- The upgrade to
the Bios Optimizer Collect Full version allows the user to not only
capture, but secure, organize, search and present data. It stores the
records in a small but secure SQL database. These records can also be
easily opened in a variety of off-the-shelf database applications, including
Microsoft Excel and Access.
