The compact TUFF sampling pumps, designed for harsh environments, incorporate true volumetric flow control circuitry providing precise control over sample rates/volumes. Two flow rate options: 500-3000 ml/m with TUFF 3 units and 500-4500 ml/m using TUFF 4 models. Addition of a low-flow adapter facilitates flow rates as low as 5 ml/mi.

Power for the TUFF pumps is provided by one of two optional rechargeable 4.8V NiMH battery packs - the standard capacity 1.7Ah battery pack for use when light weight is more important than extreme run time or the extended-run 2.7Ah battery pack which provides provides over 40 hours of run time at 2 liters per minute flow rate.

Casella Apex Personal Sampling Pumps

The Apex personal sampling pumps are available with flow ranges from 0.8 to 5 L/min. Intrinsically safe (IS) models available with flow ranges from 0.8 to 4 L/min. Low flow adapter for flow ranges of 5 to 800 ml/min. The LCD displays the flow rate, volume sampled, elapsed sample time, ambient temperature, and current operating mode. NiMH battery provides up to 34 hours life, with a drop-in fast charger for recharging in less than 3 hours. Optional replacement alkaline battery pack for emergencies. Infrared wireless computer communication with the Pro models.

Apex pumps are compatible with commonly used sampling devices such as filters, sorbent tubes, cyclones and tedlar bags.  Sampling accessories available from Casella include a conical inhalable sampler, an Institute of Occupational Medicine sampler, a total inhalable sampler, an asbestos sampler, a respirable cyclone and a rosin/solder fume sampler. Various sized polyurethane foam filters are also available.

Apex Lite Non-IS Personal Sampling Pumps

The Casella Apex Lite personal sampling pumps are low cost starter pumps with thicker windows to minimize accidental damage to the display. The pumps have flow rates from 800 to 5000 ml/min and 5 to 750 ml/min using a low flow adapter. Apex Lite pumps are available in standard and programmable versions and have up to 45 hour run times at 2 L/min with a 25 mm GFA filter. This represents a full week of full day sampling from the same set of batteries. The pumps are supplied with a one time alkaline battery pack for infrequent use, which can be easily upgraded to NiMH rechargeable batteries.

Casella WBGT Real-Time Heat Stress Monitor

The WBGT real-time heat stress meter measures and datalogs wet bulb, dry bulb and globe temperatures simultaneously from three PRTD sensors.  The meter automatically calculates the heat stress level in the work environment using the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature  Index and logs that value for both indoor and outdoor work environments. 

Both the meter and the sensor unit have tripod sockets for ease of use.  The sensors can be mounted directly onto the body of the instrument or remotely positioned using a 30 ft cable.. The WBGT has built-in audible & visual alarms for RH%, dewpoint and wet bulb reservoir water levels.

Casella Nomad Portable Weather Station

Nomad portable datalogging weather station can monitor and log wind direction, speed, barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, dew point, rainfall and solarimeter data. It is suitable for all types of emergency, hazmat, biological release, security response and environmental monitoring. An integrated solar panel charger allows extended operation. Telemetry options include remote operation and data collection via wireless or modem communication. Supports up to four additional sensors such as soil temperature, leaf wetness, grass temperature, SOX and NOX.
